Wow this is all new to us. It is 2 pm and David is trying to "escape" work. We are ready to takeoff and go get our little girl. It almost seems impossible that Ellie has actually been our daughter since August 1st. Just like our boys Zach and Josh we loved them completely before we ever saw them. On Monday our hospital will be replaced with an orphanage, but we already love Ellie Eyerusalem just as we did our boys when they were born. I see the work that God is doing in my children's lives, and I can only imagine what He has in store for all of us through the love that Ellie is bringing into our family. My very first blog is now complete, I feel so current.

Wow, you are now in the 21st century. Now you just need a cell phone. Seriously, you and Paula will be in our prayers. Enjoy this moment. Take lots of pictures and video. I know meeting Ellie's mother will be hard and special. We'll be there at the airport to welcome you home. I'll video Zach's and Josh's expression on seeing Ellie for the first time in person.

Central Ave. Church prayed for you again this AM. When bringing the sermon to an end, JD said he'd move quickly, otherwise his brother would land in Ethiopia before the sermon was finished. Cue the chuckles. You are frequently in our thoughts and always in our hearts.
PS the bicycle is blue and white with yellow trim.

I have just talked to Carolyn and the boys and they are fine. There was a big wind storm in L-ville and 250,000 are without electric but your house is o.k. Schools have been cancelled for tomorrow and maybe longer. We have prayed for you and also at the church today. Can't wait to see Ellie, my NEW GRANDDAUGHTER.

All is well here. Oh, I am so anxious to hear all about your meeting with Ellie for the first time and about her mother. This has got to be an emotional time for all of you. Keep these letters coming. We love you all.

Boys will be back in school on Wed. I will be up there for rest of the time. They have practice after school - no games this week so far. Won't be long now - please fly safe.
