hi all, I have sent multiple messages but they never go to anyone. I cannot access my blog and my adoption update distribution list will not show up here.
We got to spend all day today with Eyarusalem. She is the most fantastic little girl I have ever met, don't tell the Heitzman duo or Hanna!!! We also were able to spend 3-4 hours with Eyarusalem's mother Habtam. Let me tell you she is one strong lady and she has prepared her daughter well. Even after telling us that Eyarusalem would not be able to leave with us, she went to the hotel with us and played, got cleaned up and put on new clothes Paula brought. She looked up at Paula and said "I love you" and kissed Paula on the cheek! When I went to leave the room she called me daddy and when I stopped she ran over and kissed me on the cheek before I left.
We were able to go to dinner with Eyob from the orphanage and our driver. After eating more than any little girl could hold she climbed up into Paula's lap and went to sleep. Hopefully this will go through, please tell the boys hey and good luck at the soccer games. I'm 7 hours ahead, I should be able to tell you who won...... I'm getting a phone card tomorrow so that I can call.
Can't wait for you to meet my little girl.

Wow this is all new to us. It is 2 pm and David is trying to "escape" work. We are ready to takeoff and go get our little girl. It almost seems impossible that Ellie has actually been our daughter since August 1st. Just like our boys Zach and Josh we loved them completely before we ever saw them. On Monday our hospital will be replaced with an orphanage, but we already love Ellie Eyerusalem just as we did our boys when they were born. I see the work that God is doing in my children's lives, and I can only imagine what He has in store for all of us through the love that Ellie is bringing into our family. My very first blog is now complete, I feel so current.
